In addition to the basic diagnostics and therapeutic treatments included in the 7-day Buffmed Vitality package, this package offers our guests free use of all the services offered at the Buff Medical Resort. It serves to get to know our concept and to renew and strengthen body, mind and soul.
The stay is usually combined with short-term fasting, depending on the life situation of our guests. Thanks to therapeutic fasting according to F.X. Mayr program, many positive health effects can be achieved in a very short time.
We show our guests the way to a completely new perception of food, satiety and dependence or independence from food. This could be the start of a regular interval fast, such as an 18 h/6 h fast, an intermittent 48 h or even 72 h fast, but possibly also a classic Mayr fast for many guests. Because here they get to know themselves, their body and their mind in a positively changed form.
As part of the Buffmed sports and exercise program, our guests also have access to all open individual and group programs. This enables them to integrate the content that suits them into their everyday lives.

The latest cardiac diagnostics to determine cardiac and vascular health
As part of the 3-day Buffmed Cardio package, we carry out extensive and unique cardiological diagnostics with our guests, which offers the opportunity to identify existing cardiological risks and counteract them as early as possible.
In doing so, we go far beyond the usual internal cardiology diagnostics. Thanks to cardio-MRI and the use of AI in the analysis, our cardiologists are not only able to make precise statements about the blood flow and oxygen supply to the heart muscle, but also about its performance and its ability to adapt to different stresses. Risks of developing cardiac arrhythmias and even the smallest structural changes in the heart muscle, so-called micro-scars, can also be recognised immediately.
The visualization and analysis of the three-dimensional course of the heart‘s action provide further indications of cardiac health. The aim of this complex diagnostic procedure is to determine a person‘s biological age and minimize the risk of heart disease.

As part of the 10-day Buffmed Classic package, we work with our guests to precisely diagnose where they currently stand and develop goals aimed exclusively at improving their health. We show them how they can achieve these goals through scientifically proven interventions and lifestyle changes. And how they can consciously experience the positive effect of their transformation and integrate it into their everyday life.
A stay at the Buff Medical Resort is usually combined with an individually tailored fasting program. However, our guests can also enjoy calorie-reduced, easily digestible organic buff gourmed cuisine. Both will lead them into a different world of thinking and feeling about food, as well as chewing, tasting and enjoying food.
As part of this package, we carry out a detailed analysis of our guests‘ metabolic health and physical performance. We use modern tracking methods such as continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). If sleep diagnostics are required, we also carry out a continuous measurement of the heart rhythm to diagnose any existing cardiac arrhythmia, including the measurement of heart rate variability (HRV or HFV).

As part of the 14-day Buffmed Classic package, our guests can benefit from the effects of Mayr‘s therapeutic fasting much more intensively. Intestinal and digestive health will benefit significantly from a longer period of individual fasting. This gives our guests the opportunity to make the transition to their everyday lives smoother and easier by taking more days off.
This package also includes more variable therapy and diagnostic options. This allows us to respond even better, i.e. more individually, to the needs, goals and wishes of our guests and to set more intensive priorities. The focus of the stay is derived from the diagnostic analysis, the overall life situation and the jointly developed goals of the respective guest. For example, the focus is on intestinal health, stress reduction, metabolic health, performance or a professionally supervised recovery, body, mind and soul. Within the framework of this package, the focus is set jointly.
